Bars

Recently under new ownership and management, The Braidwood Hotel (formerly known as the Commercial Hotel), is a classic Georgian style hotel built in 1859.

A classic traditional country pub where they aim to create a good atmosphere, and provide pleasant service, delicious food and a range of beverages.

Events at the Hotel have featured in the first NSW Royal Commission into police corruption, it has featured in the movie ‘The Year My Voice Broke’ and Mick Jagger was known to play the piano here while he was filming ‘Ned Kelly’.

The Hotel has been undergoing a long and loving restoration previously by the Mitchell family, and being continued by the current owners. The Hotel is finally almost fully restored to its former glory and it’s time to visit!

The public bar is open seven days per week serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including draught beer, wine, spirits, coffee and soft drinks. The dining room is open for dinner five nights per week and lunch four days per week with a range of entrees, mains, desserts and weekly specials that are all delicious and affordably priced.
