Established in 1908 the General Store embraces the rich history and charming character of a small country town, while offering the best locally grown produce, stunning views of Mt Warning, warm friendly service and outstanding culinary delights.

For those who take their coffee seriously, you will be delighted to know that there is a Master Barister in house, and an all day breakfast menu that doesn’t disappoint. Fresh made sandwiches and focaccias, blur the line between breakfast and lunch, that is, if you can go past the exquisite cakes, biscuits and hand made pastries also baked fresh onsite. Their offering of vegan, gluten and dairy free options is impressive as is the all day burger menu which has been appropriately coined as “the Best Burgers In The Valley”.

An expansive range of locally grown fresh and organic produce, Australian made products and locally hand made gifts, and souvenirs fill the shelves in this beautiful store. The nursery contains organic seedlings, medicinal herbs and bush tucker, bee attracting plants and native fruit trees, as well as a colourful array of fresh and dried flowers.
