Wombat Hotel

Bars

Wombat Hotel is located just off the Olympic Highway in the beautiful village of Wombat between Young, Cootamundra and Harden.

The Wombat Hotel was established in 1877 and holds the longest continuous liquor licence in NSW.

The village of Wombat is renowned for its cherry production and was a historic gold mining area with a living history display contained in the historic Wombat Hotel.

There are still the odd remnants of diggings located on the landscape. Why don’t you drop into the Wombat Hotel for a refreshing drink and view the living history of this village?

Wombat is also becoming known for its Australia Day Tractor Pull and markets and most recently, the Wombat Swap Meet on the long weekend in June.

The hotel is also home to the Wombat Cricket Club and a great supporter of local events.

Don’t forget to visit the little Wombat on the Rock across the street when you are in Wombat.
