Bermagui Bait and Tackle is located on the Bermagui River – the most accessible estuary system to Bermagui-based fishers. Catch a flathead, bream, whiting or a tailor or just enjoy the peace of the river.
Kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards are available to hire.
As a general rule, the run-out tide is best for most types of fishing in the Bermagui River. When you call into the shop, one of Bermagui’s local experts will help you with advice and gear.
If big game or deep sea fishing is more your style, they also offer a charter service for groups of up to 10 people on their 42-foot boat. Bookings advisable.
Services
Bermagui Bait and Tackle hire aluminium boats or ‘tinnies’ and kayaks are available for half day and full-day hire.
All tinnies are equipped with full safety equipment. Fishing licenses and all your fishing gear including bait, nets and fishing rods can be provided if necessary.
