One of Sydney’s hidden gems, Como Marina is well worth a visit to experience a boat hire on one of the state’s premier waterways. Established in the late 1800s, Como Marina offers Sydney-siders a gateway to the Georges River.
Whether it be fishing, sightseeing, a picnic, or holding a party, at Como Marina they aim to provide you with that one memorable experience you’ve been seeking in Sydney. No boat license or previous boating experience is required to drive any of their boats.
They provide driving instructions and a detailed map of the river which shows fishing spots, beaches, rest stops as well as safety tips and rules.
Safety equipment, including life jackets, is provided for all adults and children. All boats are licensed for up to four people to fish, extra fishing licenses can be bought. Fishing rods and equipment are available for hire.
There is onsite parking available and they are also a short 10 minute walk away from Como Station, part of the Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra train line for south Sydney.

Como Marina Boat Hire is a self-drive boat hire located in Sydney.
No boat license or previous boating experience is required to drive any of their boats. However, a Valid Photo ID is needed to fill in hire forms.
Whether for fishing, sightseeing, a picnic, or holding a party, at Como Marina, they aim to provide you with that one memorable experience you’ve been seeking in Sydney.

All boats are included 4 fishing licenses, extra licenses can be bought. Fishing rods and equipment are available for hire.
There is Free onsite parking and they are only a 10-15 minute walk from Como Station, part of the Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra train line for south Sydney.
They are hiring Runabout, Canopy, Cruise About, 8-Person Pontoon, 10-Person +BBQ Pontoon, and 12-Person BBQ+Toilet Pontoon.
Hiring times include:
Full-Day 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Half-day Morning 8:00 am – 12:00 pm OR Afternoon 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
2:00 pm is the latest a boat can be hired.
Boat must be returned by 4:30 pm.
