Mirimbi has a unique cultural meaning with spectacular views and natural/cultural features, directly linked to Barron Gorge National Park Walking Track Network. Guests will be able to take a stroll down to the beautiful Stoney Creek and Stoney Creek Falls. Nearby you’ll be able to experience one of the most unique railways in the world, the Kuranda Scenic Railway. There is lots of activities to enjoy in the area, including Barron River Rafting, Smithfield Mountain Bike Park Trail and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Only 15 – 20 minutes drive from the Cairns International Airport, Cairns CBD, Northern Beaches, Skyrail & too many other attractions to name here. NB: Mirimbi Eco Retreat is a ongoing staged development project which will ultimately evolve to high end luxury standards however currently caters for basic camping while in development mode. Therefore there can be building materials stored & ongoing building works & unfenced drop offs/cliffs etc on the property. Care & control of pets & young children is therefore required by campers.
