This is a 560 acre property offering pristine bush camping located not too far from Cooktown. Be amazed by the ancient, beautiful bush with remnants of mountains with their sandstone ridges filling the vista as you look out over the valley. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. There is 10 km of 4WD tracks meandering through creek crossings, canyons, springs and sandstone ridges, all the while you will have the majestic Mount Fantastic escarpments towering over you. You are welcome to pick your spot – with so many private campsites you will feel like you’re a million miles from civilisation and yet just 20 minutes from Cooktown where you can find all your camping supplies. Please no campfires or pets at this time
