Helenvale Eco-nature Stay

Helenvale eco-nature stay is a small up and going farm that has tree lined campsites that offer either secluded, or family sized group areas. There is a permanently flowing river within close walking distance to the camping areas which offers safe swimming, fishing, nature walks, or just relax on the river frontage. The bird and wildlife fauna include barking owls, kingfishers, ducks, lace monitors, green tree and rocket frogs, and bush turkeys, and to ensure the perseveration of these native animals we do not allow pets. Other activities that are in proximity include the historic Lion’s Den Hotel which is the neighbouring property to Helenvale eco-nature stay, Black Mountain and Cedar Bay National Parks, Trevathan , Wujal Wujal. and Home Rule Falls, Bloomfield Track, and of course historic Cooktown. Campsites have separate campfires and firewood can be purchased an extra cost. Accommodation is self-contained caravans and motorhomes No tent sites available.
