The Curtain Fig Motel is a heritage style motel, centrally located in the heart of the historic village of Yungaburra on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands only a one hour drive from Cairns, North Queensland.

Your hosts, Mark and Jane Johnson, offer a warm welcome to an affordable, friendly, cosy, country style accommodation where nothing is too much trouble.

The motel has six modern, well appointed rooms with reverse cycle air conditioning. There is also a deluxe spa bungalow. The motel is child and pet friendly, is licensed and offers home cooked meals in an undercover eating area or in room. Every room has a coffee maker, tea making facilities, en suite shower and toilet, television, DVD, fridge, kettle and toaster. Salt water swimming pool on site.

Centrally located, you can walk to the famous historical hotel, award winning restaurants, fascinating craft shops and platypus viewing. You can also visit waterfalls, crater lakes, the famous Curtain Fig Tree, and Lake Tinaroo.
