Camp by a seasonal stream while your dog enjoys the large fenced area. Swim in the dam (seasonal). Relax by a fire. Watch wallabies grazing and abundant bird life, including flocks of straw-necked ibis foraging in the grasslands and double-barred finches play in the trees. Chatsworth is 10 minutes north of Gympie. Chatsworth Acreage Camping is accessed by the turnoff near Chatsworth Park, a popular overnight roadside rest area. Historically, the suburb was mostly used for dairy farming but is now predominantly residential acreage blocks. Our acreage is flanked by properties yet to be developed. Take a walk and have a lovely view of the suburb and rolling hills that surround it. Six minutes down the highway, visit the Woodworks Museum. Eleven minutes away, explore the River to Rail Trail along the Mary River. Take a leisurely stroll all the way from Kidd Bridge Park to Normanby Bridge. Along the way visit the Sands, and then on to the gold fossicking area along Deep Creek.
