This property is very close to where I spent most of my childhood. Very close to the township of Gympie made famous in the goldrush days. It’s a known fact that Gympie is the town that saved Queensland… The area is steeped in history as the Cob and Co coach also passed through this way .I moved back to the area and onto this property 2 years ago with the dream of turning it into a rescue sanctuary to save animals that would have their life taken from them in a slaughter house for human consumption. I grew up in a dairy farm so I am very aware of the fate of male dairy calves. I really wanted to have somewhere to show others that these sentient beings are no different to our pet cats and dogs. They want to live. All proceeds from our camping go directly towards the food and care for our furry and feathered friends.
