Saddle Mountain Rest

I live on 1.2 hectares, 2/3 of which is selectively cleared. The other 1/3 is original rainforest, well, as it was when I came to live here in 2010.
I have raised garden beds and I try to grow food in them, but not with enormous success. I am growing root vegetables in pots, hopefully, lots of them. I do well growing wheatgrass which I have been selling to Cairns businesses since 2013. The property enables large vehicles to enter and park up near the entrance in a large level area. Visitors are welcome to explore the property. There is a seasonal creed and a billabong in the uncleared section I go down there every morning with my 2 silly funny lovely dogs.
I have been offering airbnb accommodation here since 2014, but I have shut it down since covid.
I would welcome people in vans or caravans here. Until anyone actually comes here to stay, I do not know how many guests I can accommodate here. But, the place will hold ONE, that’s for sure.
