Previously farmland, this property has lovely views, flat areas and slightly sloping land to the dam with a bench to sit on and reflect. Have a yarn around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and water supply. There is a picnic table available for meals. No houses close by. The Bunya Highway is nearby with rail trail across the road for biking and hiking. Head out to Yallakool Dam for good fishing and boating, and explore four fabulous wineries/restaurants just 10 mins away. The Goomeri township and our regional Pumpkin Festival are also 10 mins away. Visit the Murgon township and the historical dairy museum, a great camping store and many other shops. Cherbourg Aboriginal Community and historical precinct is a 15 min drive.
