The Folly Ballandean

The Ironbark Hut is a simple, basic and cosy timber cabin, with rustic features alongside modern touches for added comfort. It is ideal for couples and families alike with one bedroom, a firm pull-out sofa bed in the lounge with curtains for additional privacy, and two single mattresses in the loft.

The hut is open plan with separate bathroom and bedroom. It has a fully self-contained kitchen complete with cooking utensils, full sized fridge and gas cook top, and BBQ outside. All linen is provided and the yard is fully fenced. We welcome well behaved pets on-lead.

Note – Our approach to ecologically sustainable tourism means that Hut runs on 12v solar. This can result in limited facility for electrical appliances after sustained periods of rain or cloud cover. There are two phone chargers are located in the lounge room and there are two powerpoints located in the bedroom and kitchen for small appliances.

Off-grid and eco-friendly with 360 degree views, and plenty of space between you and the next site. This peaceful campground will offer self-sufficient campers the opportunity to get away from it all. All sites are on level gravel pads, and feature a designated outdoor fire pit (when conditions permit). Well behaved pets are allowed on leads.

Strictly no tents; guests must bring their own water, power and toilet with them. A septic dump point and rubbish disposal are available onsite. Price is for two guests, additional adult guests $10 per person extra. Children under 12 are free. Each site must be pre-booked in advance and guests will have to agree to the terms and conditions.
