Splitters Farm
Where To Stay Sharon, Bundaberg, Queensland
This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.
Splitters Farm is a family owned property just 10min drive north of Bundaberg’s bustling central business district. Set amongst lush tropical bush-land, the 156 acre property is bordered by Splitters Creek, a fresh water reserve that feeds into the beautiful Burnett River. Our powered camping is currently under construction and we are only able to offer unpowered sites with no amenities so campers must be self-sustainable. The acreage is home to native animals such as wallabies, platypus, barramundi, prehistoric lung fish and boasts over 150 documented species of Australian bird life. Access to the property is by booking only until it is open to the general public in 2020 as a nature based eco-tourist venture. Showers, toilets and laundry facilities will be available. This property is dog tolerant with strict rules due to our rescue animals that free range around the property. Please enjoy the natural beauty that the Bundaberg region has to offer and drop us a line if you’re in ever in the area.
