Kanimbia Luxury Glamping is a romantic couples retreat nestled on the edge of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Set on 50 acres in the lush Obi Obi Valley, Kanimbia has four safari tents that accomodate two people. Their tents are designed for privacy, nature and relaxation.
Each safari tent is stylishly furnished with individual pieces, along with claw foot baths, cosy internal wood burners, ensuites and kitchenettes. During your stay, they provide you with luxury bath salts and other toiletries, plush towels, bathrobes and slippers.
The safari tents also have their own undercover decks with gas barbecue and a private fire pit to sit and watch the glowing sunsets across the Obi valley turn into a starry night sky.
Their smaller luxurious nomadic tents suit those who prefer a slightly more outdoor adventure. These also have their own private fire pit.
On the property: take the picnic blanket from your tent and find yourself a shady spot to read a book, wander along their little hiking trail and pat the horses or hire a bike and explore the surrounding country lanes. National Park hikes and waterfalls are a short drive away.
Kenilworth is 15 minutes away – try the popular Kenilworth Dairies or the Country Bakery. Mapleton Public House has great views across the Coast, whilst Maleny and Montville are a scenic 30 minute drive.
