Goodwill Bridge

Landmarks and Buildings

The Goodwill Bridge is a dedicated footbridge that links the Brisbane River’s north and south banks, connecting the Queensland Maritime Museum at South Bank with the city at Gardens Point.

It is just under 500 metres long but a brief walk along this architecturally impressive structure gives you a whole new perspective on South Bank, the Brisbane River and Central Business District.

It was built in 2001 and takes its name from the Goodwill Games, which took place in Brisbane the same year.

The bridge is not open to vehicular traffic and also features public art installations along its length.
