The Great Barrier Reef Day Trip to Lady Elliot Island allows guests to view one of the most pristine sections of Australia’s iconic Great Barrier Reef from the air as well as from above and below the water, all in one day.
Check in at the QantasLink counter at Bundaberg Airport. Enjoy a gorgeous scenic flight to Lady Elliot Island, a true coral cay island located on the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef, north of Fraser Island. Guests will be greeted upon arrival and given a brief orientation tour before exploring the Island at their leisure. Guests will be fitted out with snorkel equipment before joining a glass bottom boat/guided snorkel tour to explore the reef where they will come face to face with a large variety of coral and brilliantly coloured fish, and they may even encounter turtles, reef sharks, dolphins and the resident manta rays.
Lunch is served in the Beachfront Dining Room and guests can participate in one of the Island’s guided activities after lunch or spend the rest of the afternoon snorkelling or relaxing. Guests have full use of the day guest facilities and lockers are available for hire.
