Ellwood Motorcycle Adventures is run by motorcycle enthusiasts Ellyse and Craig “Woody”. Local to the Cairns area, Ellyse has been riding and racing dirt bikes for 17 years. Ellyse has now found her love for Adventure riding and tour guiding, showing people this amazing country on a motorcycle.
Woody has ridden over 100,000kms adventuring in some of the most remote parts of Australia and has 9 years experience leading tours in Far North Queensland to places such as Cape York, the Top End and Outback Australia.
Ellwood Motorcycle Adventures offer tours from trail and adventure biking to your own custom bike tours. Explore the rainforest to the reef on the famous CREB Track or a three-day tablelands adventure. If your a motorcycle enthusiast yourself, perhaps you wish to create your own custom dream trail adventure. You can include any add-ons from heli-fishing, scuba diving or wineries.

As we make our way from Cairns to the tip of Australia we will cover roughly 1500kms of the most amazing trails and tracks that the regions has to offer. Watch as the country changes dramatically from day to day as we explore areas like the pre historic rainforests of the Daintree to the wide open plains of Lakefield N.P. We will discover the history Far North QLD as we visit places like Cooktown, The iconic Lions Den hotel and the old Morton Telegraph Station.
The riding is ever changing and fun as every day and wouldn’t be a trip to Cape York with tackling the tracks that have made the place a ‘bucket list’ trip such as the Old Telegraph Track, CREB Track, Frenchman’s Track and Starke Track. With exclusive access to private stations and aboriginal land throughout the tour this makes for a unique adventure as we get you off the normal tourist routes and experience some of the places of Cape York that are rarely visited

So come along with them and explore through the Top End of Australia on motorcycles where they traverse through some of the most remote and rugged riding Australia has to offer along The Gulf of Carpentaria, National Parks, million-acre properties, private cattle stations, world-famous Kakadu N.P, lost city rock formations, thermal springs, waterfalls, gorges, camping each night under a chandelier of stars, visiting iconic Australian pubs and learning Australia history along the way all while taking in majestic views of the glorious and harsh Australian Outback.
