Unlike smaller coral cays or sandy islands on the Great Barrier Reef, Fitzroy was once part of mainland Australia. The island is largely untouched and protected as Fitzroy Island National Park, with walking tracks through the rainforest, heathland and open forest to Nudey Beach and the Summit.
Full and half day tours available with optional glass bottom boat tours and snorkelling.

The Ferry cruise to Fitzroy Island by fast catamaran takes only 45 minutes, keeping to the calm waters of the coastline and passing spectacular scenery.
Things To Do On Fitzroy Island include snorkelling directly from the beach, glass bottom boat tours, Nudey Beach, bushwalking on National Park walking tracks.
What to bring: swimming costume, camera, sunscreen, hat, towel, money for lunch and Levy, ticket.
