FNQ Motorcycle Tours, lets go chasing waterfalls!
A perfect one day tour taking in some of the amazing Tablelands sites and waterfalls.
Starting off in Cairns, head up the Gilles range toward Atherton and tablelands, before reaching the waterfalls. Stop for morning tea at the historical Lake Barrine tea house, enjoying the views and a Devonshire cream tea.
Next stop is Yungaburra village, with the opportunity to explore its heritage buildings and spot Lumholtz tree kangaroos and platypus.
Waterfall time, first up, see the famous Milla Milla falls which is a heritage-listed 18m plunge waterfall, known for it’s natural beauty. Feel free to take a dip.
Before heading to the next falls, stop in for a delicious lunch at a local country café.
Now, experience the tumbling waters of beautiful Zillie falls, and it’s rockpools.
Just a short distance away is Ellinjaa Falls, these waters cascade over a series of lava columns. Those wanting more take the opportunity to discover a hidden ledge enjoying all the beauty it has to offer.
Finish exploring by travelling back via the winding Kuranda range to Cairns for a beer at Hemmingway’s Brewery.

8am Cairns Esplanade for a briefing then were off heading North up Kuranda range
All aboard the Military army amphibious duck into the heart of rain forest.
Lunch time Kuranda village
Short ride to the black mountain track 43kms of dirt road
winding through tropical forest, plantations.
Refreshment at Mount Molly
Head to Tinaroo, camp will be set and their cook will prepare dinner.
Time to eat then grab a rod and a beer see if you can tempt a line breaking Barra.
7am – Cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit tea / coffee by the lake just chill and enjoy!
Full day of adventure ahead!
First stop the amazing Cathedral Fig Tree as you travel through Danbulla Rainforest.
Stopping for a dip at Milla Milla Falls and then lunch at the famous Mungali Creek Dairy and Farmhouse café, known for their amazing natural ice cream.
Quick stop at Windy Hill Wind Farm now it’s time to make the way over Toumoulin Road, the highest road in Queensland.
Stop for a refreshing drink at the The Gillies Café
Then down the Gillies Range
Stop at one of the lookouts for pictures.
Last stop Hemmingway’s Brewery for a well deserved beer!
