Cloncurry Unearthed Museum is located at Mary Kathleen Memorial Park, McIlwraith Street, (Flinders Highway), Cloncurry.

The museum’s displays exhibit’s on Burke and Wills, Mary Kathleen Town & Mine, Ernest Henry (founder of Cloncurry and the great mineral wealth of the district) and collection’s of memorabilia on Cloncurry and district. Enjoy one of Australia’s most comprehensive gem and mineral collections.

In the outdoor museum see displays of mining and pastoral machinery, including traction engines, and a unique 1940s Ford rail ambulance.

Sit and relax in the shaded parklands, enjoy a barbecue, or let the kids stretch their legs in the playground. Take a short walk to the lookout with central views of Cloncurry and enjoy a coffee while you take in the surrounding countryside.
