Stand Up Paddle Tour duration is two hours – in the heart of Surfers Paradise on the river.

Times vary depending on bookings. After a safety briefing and basic lesson your guide will launch the boards on the river and commence the paddle. Meander up to the high rises of Surfers Paradise and get a photo or two of the group on the boards with a majestic backdrop of Surfers Paradise.

Then you’ll gently make your way back down the river through the canals into Macintosh Island park where you will paddle past the mangroves spotting sea-life and bird-life. There is an abundance of bird life here including a family of Peacocks that are spotted most days. See the Gold Coast from a different perspective… you will find stand up paddling along the waterways both fun and calming! Keep an eye out for a dolphin or two!

The fun kayak river tour is a gentle way to experience being on the water and cruising the Surfers Paradise area exploring the coast line either as a local or as a visitor. Great for beginners, intermediates and families.

The itinerary includes a gentle walk in the park, their experienced tour guide will point out places of interest on Sculpture walk and nature along the way. Explore the Broadwater and surrounds on their fun and relaxed kayaking tour. Take in the sights of Seaworld, the trawlers, Macintosh Island park and Broadwater Parklands. Let Go Vertical introduce you to stand up paddle boarding. They will go through step by step instruction to get you up standing and paddling like a champion before you know it. After a safety briefing and a quick demonstration you will be ready to go.

Their lesson duration is one hour and all equipment is supplied. All you need to do is “slip slop and slap” and you’re ready to learn to paddle board. They will show you just how easy it is, with instruction you will learn different stances and paddle technique and turns.

Once you have your balance they will gently guide you through the calm waterways of Surfers Paradise on an easy paddle adventure. You will love it!
