Their charters cater for anglers of all ages and experience and they specialise in private charters for small groups. Their trips are all on calm water so no seasickness to worry about.

Main Target species are Flathead, Whiting, Bream, Tailor, Trevally, Mulloway and Mangrove Jack.

They target estuary and reef fish with lures and bait on the beautiful, calm waters of the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales region.

They love nothing more than educating families with kids, catching whiting, flathead or bream with fresh bait, or trolling and casting lures for a variety of species.

They don’t just guarantee you will catch fish, they teach you the secrets of how, where and when. Charters available for 1 to 6 people.

Gold Coast Broadwater Fishing Charter

Southwind is a very comfortable boat specifically designed to cater for one person up to a group of four.

The boat has padded seating, large esky storage, FM radio and sound system, centre console and a sun roof.

The boat is a spacious and comfortable vessel and also comes complete with a quiet four-stroke motor, fish finder, and great quality tackle and lures.

This boat is also maintained to the highest survey standards and carries full safety equipment required by law.

Their Broadwater charters cater for anglers of various ages and experience levels.

All these waterways support a huge diversity of fish species and marine life, it would be too extensive and drawn out to try and name all the available species that are on offer to both the local and visiting anglers.

Flathead, Bream, Whiting, Tailor, Trevally, Jew and the mighty Mangrove Jack are the main species that are targeted in the area and will all respond to techniques such as bait, lure and fly.

The fact that most of these species can be caught on an all year round basis matched with some incredible scenery and an awesome climate make the Gold Coast an absolute sportfishing wonderland.
