Situated 22 kilometres south-west of Clermont off the Peakvale Road, discover the oasis in the outback – Theresa Creek Dam.
An angler’s paradise, golden perch, jewfish, barramundi and red claw can all be found beneath the surface. Cast a line from the shore or launch a boat for a fun day on the water.
An ideal location for a picnic, there are public picnic tables, barbeques , toilets, shower and shaded areas to enjoy the peace and quiet. It is advisable to take your own drinking water.
Camping is available in the area for a small nightly fee and there is a kiosk where you can purchase meals, snacks and beverages.
Please note:
There is a dump point available on the grounds in which all grey water must be disposed of.
To fish at Theresa Creek Dam you will need a Stocked Impoundment Permit (SIP). You will not need a SIP if you are only fishing for Red-claw.
Access is by a normal vehicle.
Facilities include toilets, hot showers, coin operated gas barbecues, boat ramp, playground, kiosk (food, drinks, gas and ice).
Animals are permitted.
An idyllic spot for water skiing, sail boarding and fishing. Camping permits available on site.
