This undeveloped wild side, is a coast that our Traditional Owners, the Wulgarukabba (canoe people), treasured. It provided ample food and shelter and reflects their ancient history.
Discover amazing mangroves, lowland forests and spectacular creeks. A highlight has got to be the most renowned sunset on Maggie, the West Point sunset, on a secluded and deserted beach.
MI Ride offers two 4WD guided bus tours along the West Point track:
A 2-hour West Point Sunset Tour with a complimentary drink and shared food platter included.
A 3-hour West Coast Eco Tour, including fauna, flora, history and geology. Tea/coffee and snacks included.

Discover the other side of Magnetic Island that few people experience, on their fun three hour guided West Coast 4WD Eco Adventure.
They will take a slow bus trip along the West Point road as we explore mangroves, forests, waterfalls, creeks, as well as historic and cultural sites. Some points of interest will vary according to tides and weather, (i.e., mangroves at high or low tide, and waterfalls in or out of wet season).
Fitness level and accessibility: A little low impact walking.
Accessibility: Drop down step for easy access.
