Community Event

12 May 2024 to 24 May 2024 Annual Event

Experience the vastness of Outback Queensland as you join other intrepid adventurers on the ultimate, authentic, true blue, fair dinkum Aussie outback adventure.

The Harry Redford Drive relives the trail of the infamous Harry Redford who in 1870, stole between 600-1000 head of cattle from Bowen Downs north of Aramac, planning to move them overland to South Australia.

Over 18 unforgettable spectacular days, some of Australia’s most experienced drovers will
escort participants on an outdoor adventure of one of the greatest cattle duffing drives known to man.

There is nothing to rival this journey over 200 km droving 600 head of cattle through the spectacular outback, camping under the stars and swapping yarns around the campfire.
