It wasn’t until 1998 that her posthumously released recordings would pique the interest of the small West Coast folk music label Blix Street Records. Her first posthumously released album, “Songbird”, became a major international hit and earned the songstress subsequent #1 albums across the globe, selling in excess of 12 million sales worldwide.
