Astor Piazzolla himself would have been pleasantly surprised to hear his Tango Suite performed not on guitar – but on four bassoons! This fascinating and unusual quartet offers a new spin on his Argentinian classic.

The musicians will also play you a couple of string duos from Haydn (a delightful one) and Sibelius (a sentimental one). Then you’ll be hiking up the mountains of Europe in Strauss’ Alpine Fantasy – here performed through another unique quartet configuration. You’ll have to come along to hear which bellowing brass instrument we have in store for you this time!
