BAYNK – Open Season 2024

New Zealand-born, London-based electronic artist BAYNK returns to Brisbane this July, with the promise of new music and an all new live show.

BAYNK’s innovative sets have led him to sold out shows across the US, UK/Europe and Asia, including performances at iconic festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, Electric Forest and Life is Beautiful and sold out headline performances at The Fonda in LA and XOYO in London.

After breakout success with his first two EP releases led by the single “go with u”, BAYNK released his GRAMMY®-nominated debut album ADOLESCENCE in 2021 which Pitchfork described as “his most meticulous work to date”, including collaborations with Tinashe, Cosmo’s Midnight and Brisbane’s own Cub Sport.

Two years after the release and his sold out debut Brisbane performance at Brightside, this year will see BAYNK return to Australia again in support of his soon-to-be-announced sophomore album, and a dynamic new live performance.

This event is presented as part of Open Season – a curated program of music and art running from May to July 2024. Open Season has been supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland’s QASP program, the Strategic Partnerships Fund, and through Live Music Australia – an Australian Government initiative.
