A decade in the making, the enigmatic Sky Ferreira finally returns to Australia for a series of rare headline performances.
It’s been over 10 years since Sky Ferreira released her critically acclaimed, widely beloved debut album Night Time, My Time, and since then the American singer-songwriter has become a musical enigma bordering on pop myth.
Between a string of film appearances and teasing a handful of one-off tracks, the multi-talented model, actor and musician left fans wondering when – or even if – she’d release a follow-up to her iconic debut. Now, 10 years after her last Australian shows – and with that second album rumoured to be nearing release – Ferreira is finally back, and set to take The Princess Theatre stage by storm as part of Open Season 2024.
This event is presented as part of Open Season – a curated program of music and art running from May to July 2024. Open Season has been supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland’s QASP program, the Strategic Partnerships Fund, and through Live Music Australia – an Australian Government initiative.
