Commonfolk Presents proudly announces Australian singer-songwriter, Ziggy Alberts, headline show at the iconic Cairns venue, Munro Martin Parklands on Saturday 25 May 2024 – his first show back in Fare North Queensland in three years.

For what is set to be an unforgettable night of live music, Ziggy’s exclusive North Queensland show is the final home stop before embarking overseas on his 2024 New Love World Tour. The one-night-only event celebrates the release of his latest single ‘New Love’. The single is reminiscent of the captivating soundscapes found within Ziggy Alberts’ ARIA Gold Certified album, ‘Laps Around The Sun’ and other toe-tapping fan favourites, which are sure to make this all-ages pop-up show one to remember.

Adding to the magic of the evening, Ziggy will be supported by the unique talents of Australian singer-songwriter Steph Strings, whose music style includes explosive percussion alongside Celtic, blues, and coastal fingerstyle indie-rock. Indie-folk duo, Salt Tree will also grace the stage, bringing their infectious harmonies and cheeky on-stage banter to the events’ lineup.
