Guyala Cafe

Restaurant and Cafe

Guyala [pronounced goo-ya-la] is the local indigenous Gimuy language group (including Gimuy Walubara Yidinji) word for the White Breasted Sea Eagle and is also the name of the mountain range embracing the Southern side of Trinity Inlet.

The team acknowledge the traditional owners of the land our cafe is on, and believe language is an important key to maintaining and celebrating culture.

Guyala serves thoughtful food with an emphasis on indigenous and local ingredients, as well as creating a delicious flavour balance.

International culinary influence is the philosophy of the menu. Plant-based and gluten-free options are available.
