Daintree Siesta Restaurant

Located in the heart of the oldest continuous rainforest in the world – the UNESCO World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest. Daintree Siesta is a small family-owned business in Diwan, Tropical North Queensland offering an on-site licensed restaurant, accommodation and campground.

Cross the Daintree River car ferry and drive 30 minutes on sealed road over Alexandra Range where the rainforest meets the sea (2.5 hours north of Cairns and 30 minutes south of Cape Tribulation).

The al-fresco licensed restaurant has an open air tropical dining area and serves lunch and dinner options (Sunday to Friday – 12-2pm & 5:30-7pm Sunday to Friday – restaurant bookings preferred by phone or email as hours may vary).

Meals options include pan-fried barramundi, spaghetti bolognese, a range of curries and lighter options including some vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Dietary requirements can be discussed. Small group tours can be catered for on discussion.
