Visitor Information Centres
The Explore Rockhampton Visitor Information Centre is located at the Tropic of Capricorn Spire monument at 176 Gladstone Road, at the southern entrance to Rockhampton.
The visitor information centre offers a one stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures and itineraries. Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable volunteers, the Explore Rockhampton Visitor Information Centre can provide advice on things to see and do and where to eat in the Rockhampton Region and surrounds.
Local Tip: The volunteers know the Rockhampton Region inside and out and can provide you with information that only the locals know. Contact them for information on guides and tours throughout Rockhampton and Mount Morgan areas.
