Visitor Information Centres
Miles Visitor Information Centre is a one stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures and fact sheets. The Centre sells ice-creams, cold drinks, souvenirs and provides free Wi-Fi internet access.
Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable locals, the Centre can assist you in your adventure into the heart of the Western Downs region with advice on the things to see and do, the best attractions to explore and local happenings.
The Miles Visitor Information Centre is situated on the Warrego Highway at the eastern entrance to town, with plenty of parking for vehicles of all sizes. A skate park, playground for the kids, picnic tables and barbecue facilities are all nearby. The Miles VIC also combines with the reception for the Miles Historical Village Museum and admission tickets may be purchased here.
Miles Visitor Information Centre is closed Christmas Day.
