Train Services
The Airtrain service connects passengers from the Brisbane Airport to the City in 20 minutes and travels express to the Gold Coast. Passengers can catch Airtrain and Tram for travel to the heart of Surfers Paradise via a transfer at Helensvale rail station to the G:link tram service.
Airtrain is highly regarded as a preferred method of transport from Brisbane Airport. More than 25 million passenger trips have been made since its launch in 2001. Airtrain was awarded a TripAdvisor Travellers Choice in 2022 and the Certificate of Excellence in 2017 and 2018.
Travel from Brisbane Airport every 15 minutes during peak times (30 minutes off-peak). The journey is comfortable in their modern fleet of trains, with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, space for luggage, restrooms on board, and LED screens to help you navigate your journey. Airtrain services operate daily.

Brisbane Airport to the City, Airtrain is the fast and economical way to travel. In 20 minutes you’ll travel directly from Brisbane Airport to the heart of Brisbane’s Central Business District – Central Station.
Your City ticket is valid for travel to and from all stations between the Airport and South Brisbane including: Bowen Hills, Fortitude Valley, Central Station and Roma Street Station.
Airtrain is your fast and reliable airport transfer option. Fully integrated into the TransLink network, catching Airtrain means you can easily access other Brisbane trains to or from the suburbs.

Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast, Airtrain is the fast and economical way to travel.
You will travel express to the Gold Coast from Beenleigh to Varsity Lakes. The Airtrain stops at all Gold Coast stations, including Ormeau, Coomera, Helensvale (connects with G:Link tram at Helensvale station), Nerang, Robina and Varsity Lakes.

Airtrain travels express to the Gold Coast and allows you to connect to the G:link tram station at the Helensvale rail station via a skybridge. Airtrain and Tram takes you directly into the heart of Southport, Main Beach, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.
