1860’s Beachfront Homestead in McCracken
Where To Stay McCracken, Victor Harbor, South Australia
This heritage property in the dress circle of Victor Harbor has all the charm of yesteryear, with nothing between you and the beach but the green verge to the sand (and the tracks of the historic Cockle Train at the bottom of the garden).
Enjoy the views facing Granite Island, the Norfolk Pines of Victor, all the way to The Bluff. The property also overlooks the Hindmarsh River wetlands, teeming with birdlife. A beach track runs right to the house. The wide timber wraparound verandah has cocktail seating and is ideal for curling up with a good book or sundowners.
There are two queen bedrooms and a Bunk Room with four single beds, so the property sleeps eight. The bunk room runs off the separate games room with a pool table. A secure lock-up two-car garage provides off-street parking.
The sitting room and dining room run across the front of the property with floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows that take in the spectacular sweeping views. Your pets are welcome inside. Just bring a cover for the furniture and towels for yourself. Everything else will be provided.
The home will be prepared for your arrival by our Housekeeping service, ensuring there are fresh quality linens on the bed and a welcome gift of local South Australian wine and chocolate.
