Cottages

Wenton Farm has two self catering cottages located on our beef cattle property. Each cottage has a front deck and paved back area both overlooking different aspects of the property.

Cottages are two or three bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining/lounge and large outdoor deck area with undercover barbecue.

Guests can wander the property at will and safely. Property is pleasantly undulating, well treed and green for most of the year. Enjoy views of hillsides and dam. See kangaroos grazing in the paddocks and wonderful native birds. Beef cattle and chickens are kept on the farm.

Peaceful and quiet yet only 600 metres from an arterial road and five minutes drive to local beach and shops and an easy drive to River Murray mouth at historic Goolwa, Horseshoe Bay at beautiful Port Elliot and Granite Island at Victor Harbor. Urimbirra Wildlife Park is also within easy distance. Wineries abound with the local wineries 10 to 15 minutes away to McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek wine districts is 35 minutes away.

Staying at Wenton Farm allows you to enjoy all the region has to offer and return to the peace and quiet, watching and hearing the ‘local natives’.

LAVENDER COTTAGE

Lavender Cottage is a two bedroom self-catering cottage with one queen size bed and one bunk bed and bathroom. Kitchenette has full size refrigerator, electric hotplates, microwave, sundry electrical appliances and associated cooking equipment. Open plan dining/lounge with television/DVD player and large picture window for beautiful outdoor views.
The cottage has reverse cycle, split-system air conditioning, outdoor deck area and undercover barbecue. Car parking available next to the cottage. There is room to kick a football or go for a walk. The yard is fully fenced for child safety.

Grevillea Cottage is a three bedroom self-catering cottage with one queen size bed, one double bed and one bunk bed and bathroom. The kitchen has full size refrigerator, gas hotplates and microwave and associated cooking equipment. Open plan dining/lounge with television/DVD player and large sliding glass doors for beautiful outdoor views.
The cottage has reverse cycle, split-system air conditioning and a large outdoor deck area and undercover barbecue. Car parking is available next to the cottage. There is room to kick a football or go for a walk. Access ramp for wheel chair, walker or pram at rear and steps at the front. The yard is fully fenced for child safety.
