Recently renovated (2023) and modernized with 2x (1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, 1 Kitchen, 1 Hardwood Viewing Deck) to choose from. Each romantic, private cottage is suitable for 2 guests. A ‘little bit lux’ getaway stay located in the centre of the Strathalbyn township.

The Cottages have elevated panoramic views over an expansive and private natural bush setting to the Angas River you would not know that you are in the centre of Strath. Bird life abounds early mornings and at dusk.

Strathalbyn’s High Street ‘the unofficial Antique Capital of SA’, gemstores, motor museums, art galleries, 4x hotels and many coffee houses are only a stone’s throw away. By a stones throw we mean 200-400 metres from either cottage’s front doors.

Though located in a beautiful heritage cottage, both interior designs are suitable for those swayed by a modern up market stay. Cottage Central contains a romantic winter open fireplace to remove the winter chills whilst watching the Angas River stream past. Both have Kings, lux bedding & furnishings. Both have private access to the Angas. (No other Strath getaway, cottage, BnB, villa, motel or hotel has our direct Angas River access, linking up to the Soldiers Memorial Gardens).

Personalized horse & cart tours with pick up and drop off from your door is available (pre-booking is highly recommended). The horse & cart experience for a wedding or if take the ‘Strathalbyn Cottages Historical Tour’.

Both Cottages are inter connectable. Both Cottages are suitable for guests with discerning modern tastes.

If a full kitchen is not your thing, all the eateries, hotels & coffee houses are 200-400m away.
