Chestnut Grove

Set on a hillside plateau within a fruit and nut orchard, the campsite provides a sheltered area with plenty of bird life, from wedge-tail eagles to blue wrens, the occasional koala and kangaroo. There are many walking trails on the property.

Roast some chestnuts over the campfire (in season). They are close to the historic Marble Hill residence, Adelaide Hills eateries and wineries. Hike on the property or Rock climb at nearby Morialta Falls or use this as a base to the nearby Heysen trail or to a winery or 20.
