Three Creeks are set within a secluded and relaxing environment that is quite unspoiled. Nestled within the Flinders Ranges mid-way between the Southern Flinders and the Northern Flinders, South Australia, four hours drive from Adelaide. It is wild in parts with large hills running into each other to form many points of interest for campers, walkers and four-wheel drive enthusiasts.
Three Creeks is a 20,000 acre holding 15 minutes drive from Cradock. Simon and Amanda Hilder are the proud owners of Three Creeks, and they both have long and strong generational connections with the area as graziers of merino sheep.
In January 2017 Simon and Amanda made a massive time and financial commitment to begin saving the old abandoned buildings on Three Creeks with the view of eventually opening accommodation offerings for visitors to the area. The buildings were all in major disrepair and the Shepherds Hut was a ruin so the undertaking was a big one. In the first half 2023 they opened their accommodation options White Cabin and Shepherds Hut. They are beyond proud.
Three Creeks also offer seven private and secluded bush campsites and two four-wheel drive tracks, Water Run Track and Yacca Road.

A newly built house in 2023 that incorporates the 2 room 1880s original stone Shepherds Hut as a queen bedroom and the kitchen. 3 bedrooms in all, 2 queens and 1 twin king single…sleeping 6 total.
Full kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave, full laundry and 1.5 bathrooms.
A beautiful big front veranda that looks towards a gum creek waiting to be explored. Heating and cooling throughout the home.

Newly renovated and updated. 3 original cozy shearers bedrooms, shared dining and lounge with an open fireplace, and a small but fully equipped kitchen including a microwave. Full detached bathroom.
Sleeps 6, 1 queen, 2 twin singles. Outdoor lounge setting with raised firepit. Hooded barbecue.
A basic camper trailer will be set up for you at your chosen bush campsite. We set up and and supply everything you need for camping with 4 people. 1 queen bed, 2 singles on blow up camp mattresses. You will need to supply bedding, food and beverages. We then pack everything down so you don’t have to.
We have 7 bush campsites to choose from…no facilities. All campsites are secluded from each other. Some sites are small and suit 1-2 vehicles and some are large and can accommodate many vehicles.

Arkaroona Picnic Ground…our destination campsite. The most amazing site with a large gum creek, lichen covered rock cliffs, several feeder creeks to explore and there is often water in the creeks leading down to the water hole.
