Surrounded by lush farmland, the Bellum is situated on the Limestone Coast at the base of the Mt Schank volcanic crater. It’s only a 12 minute drive south of Mt Gambier, and 14kms from the coastal town of Port MacDonnell. Local attractions include Mount Schank crater rim hike, Kilsby Sink Hole, Little Blue Lake, Ewens Ponds and Picaninnie Ponds Conservation Parks, Blackfellows Caves and beautiful coastal beaches.
The Bellum offers great food, a restaurant and bar, beer garden, bottle shop, gaming room, TVs and ATM facilities. It has an indoor play corner in the restaurant for children, darts and a billiard table. Lunch service is 12pm until 2pm and dinner service is 5.30pm to 8.30pm. All meals are available as take-away.
The Bellum has three comfortable motel rooms. All rooms have a fridge, microwave, flat-screen TV, fan and heater, linen and towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a bathroom with shower, and free WiFi. The rooms access an enclosed shared courtyard with outdoor furniture and a clothesline.
The Bellum is open Tuesday to Saturday (inclusive) from 12pm until late, and Sundays from 12pm until 6pm. The Bellum is closed on Mondays.
Free camping available for self contained RV campers. Please call ahead and check in at the front bar on arrival.

There is one comfortable motel room that sleeps 5 people. This room is perfect for families or diving groups. We charge a flat rate per room.
The room has an ensuite bathroom with shower, a flat-screen television, a fan and heater, a toaster, fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. All linen is included. The room accesses a secure and enclosed garden courtyard with a clothesline that can be used for drying diving equipment.
High chairs and portacots (no linen provided) are available upon request.
