Ironstone Cottage is a three bedroom cottage situated in the beautiful seaside township of Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island, South Australia.
The cottage can sleep up to six people. There are two queen size beds and two single beds. There are modern conveniences available to make for a comfortable stay. Linen is included .
The cottage has a bathroom, laundry, large lounge area, fully equipped kitchen and balconies on both sides of the accommodation to relax and take in the beautiful views. A weber Q and an outdoor area with setting are available.
The cottage is only two minutes’ drive away from the beach and ferry terminal and all the shops and eating areas in Penneshaw.
The rental is pet friendly and has a fenced yard for your dog to enjoy.
Kangaroos, wallabies, and the red tail black cockatoo can be seen on a regular basis as they live around this area in Baudin Park across the road from Ironstone Cottage.
Dolphins also live along the coast and can be spotted most days .
The town has 4 great walking trails in the area.
Wallaby Track,Ironstone Point walk in Baudin Park,Sculpture Trail and Binneys Track, all unique walks.
Penneshaw has restaurants, cafes, local pub, IGA, tennis courts, skate park, play ground, great beach and jetty for fishing.
