Lake Leake

Caravan, Camping and Holiday Parks

Lake Leake is located in an extinct volcano and is part of the volcanic trail. The area is popular for bird watching and the lake has boat launching facilities for fishing (red fin, perch), skiing, rowing and sailing.

Self-contained campers are welcome to stay onsite overnight. Clubrooms are available onsite to hire for a fee and include table and chairs, toilet and shower facilities. To book, contact details are provided at the link.

A public barbecue and toilets are available for day visitors. Please note these facilities are cleaned every Monday and Friday during the Summer period. During Winter months they are cleaned on a Friday. All visitors must take their rubbish with them and dispose of it responsibly, to help maintain this natural environment.

Volunteers from the Glencoe Progress Association maintain this wonderful lake.

Brochures are available for the Kanawinka Geopark Discovery Trail at all Wattle Range Council Visitor Information Centres in the area.
