Mt Dutton Bay Woolshed Hostel Retreat
Where To Stay Mount Dutton Bay, Lower Eyre Peninsula, South Australia
Mt Dutton Bay Woolshed is absolutely unique in itself.
Located on absolut seafront between the beautiful Marble Ranges and the tranquil waters of Mt Dutton Bay, it presents itself much as it did back in 1875.
Since 1993 the Woolshed has been lovingly restored and charmingly presented and placed under State Heritage listing, now offering visitors a taste of history from a time of blade shearers, tar boys and rouses.
The Woolshed Hostel Retreat accommodation offers unique timber and stone interior along with comfortable sleeping arrangements in handcrafted single timber bunks. Ideal for school groups, reunions, adventure groups, nature and interest groups.
Rural peace, seclusion and a chance to interact with nature. New Cafe, Art Gallery and Woolshed Museum located on the property.
Directly opposite the heritage jetty and local Farm beach, perfect for the nature lover. Dolphins and bird life abound. Truly stunning views all within a unique, idyllic location, a real slice of Australia.
