Located 15kms from Renmark, Calperum Station is conservation property of approximately 240,000 hectares of protected landscape. Extending from the Murray River to the Mallee country, Calperum covers approximately one third of the Riverland RAMSAR floodplain and considered an internationally significant wetland system. With abundant native birds and wildlife, Calperum is home to rare and threatened species of flora and fauna, and is rich in history,
Calperum is managed by a team of Ecologists and Indigenous Rangers who restore and preserve the property. Visitors are invited to experience nature, ecology, culture and conservation activities at their best.
Calperum Station offers accommodation from a 5 bedroom family house to smaller cottages, as well group and individual dorm rooms with a camp kitchen.
Calperum also offers 12 secluded campsites along Ral Ral creek with access for caravans and campervans.
