Coobowie Caravan Park is located near one of the safest beaches on the peninsula. The cabins overlook the magnificent St Vincent Gulf. The park is central to all peninsula landmarks and towns. Visitors have the choice of activities, varying from fishing, history, relaxing, having a barbecue, walking trails to swimming or visiting the picturesque coast line of the lower Yorke Peninsula.

We are a pet friendly park with 2 pet friendly cabins and sites available throughout the park as pet friendly options. Talk to the office staff prior to booking for these options.

These modern, stylish Spa Villas are well appointed and located right on the doorstep of the beach. Sleeping up to five guests in two bedrooms, they are ideal for a special getaway. The open plan allows for space to relax and unwind, whilst the front deck allows you to dine outdoors and soak up the stunning views. If the outdoors is not for you, enjoy a peaceful spa in your own jetted tub.

Coobowie Retreat

Set in the small beachside town of Coobowie, on the Southern Yorke Peninsula is the Coobowie School Retreat. The stone building dates back to 1921, originally the ‘Coobowie School’ until 1971. The building was opened in 2010 for accommodation. The Retreat is perfect for large group bookings, sleeping up to 32 guests in four bedrooms. With fantastic modern facilities, its own amenities, kitchen/dining, lounge and access to a private camp kitchen, the Retreat is ideal for family reunions, team building conventions, sporting groups (end of season trips), craft groups, social clubs, vehicle clubs, recreational groups (such as diving and birdwatching) and also great option for group work accommodation. With accessible bathroom facilities, the Retreat is also ideal for respite care groups. Linen hire is available.

Park Unit

These cosy, motel style units sleep up to six guests. They are perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to lay your head after a busy day of fishing, diving or exploring. Everything within these units is located in the main room, except the bunk room. Located in the main section of the park, close to amenities and the camp kitchen. Linen hire is available at a cost of AUD10 per bed per booking or you can bring your own.
