Day One: 7.30am pickup from your hotel in Adelaide, and travel 300 kilometres north to Pichi Richi Pass and the historic Ghan Railway township of Quorn for lunch, visit the spectacular Warren Gorge and the Kanyaka Homestead Ruins abandoned during the Great Drought of 1864-7. Convenience stop at Hawker, the hub of the Flinders Ranges and the gateway to the Outback before traveling through the Moralana Scenic Drive, one of the best in the Flinders Ranges, continuing on to the Pugilist Hill Lookout for views of the Chace Range and Wilpena Pound. Day Two: Early breakfast before 30-minute flight around this spectacular, ancient geological formation called Wilpena Pound. After your unforgettable flight return to Adelaide via Bunyeroo Valley/Gorge and Brachina Gorge, a geological journey through 640 million years. Lunch at Hawker before continuing on through the quality wine producing Clare Valley. Stop to sample some local produce, arrive in Adelaide approximately 6pm- 6.30pm.
