Torbreck Vintners Experiences

Food and Wine Tours

Torbreck is on a quest to become one of the world’s great wine marques.

A critical part of this journey is remaining unwaveringly true to our core vision and not being diverted by trends and fashions.

Our original settler’s cottage cellar door is a testament to the century-old skills of local craftspeople: Barossa architects, builders, carpenters and stonemasons who collaborated to create the sleek contemporary lines and generous space.

The welcome you receive is also local, warm and personal from our cellar door team, where they will guide you on a journey through the Torbreck story

The Steading is very much the heart and soul of Torbreck, and it is the wine that exemplifies our philosophy and beliefs.

The Steading is a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro from a number old vine vineyards across the Barossa’s Western Ridge. Each vineyard a unique site with differing vine age, soils and microclimate contributing its own special characteristics to The Steading blend

The skill and art of the blend is what sets this wine apart. In the ‘The Steading Blend’ you will learn more about characteristics of each of the three individual varieties, and discover how our winemakers blend them harmoniously to form one complete wine

You will have the opportunity to taste current vintage Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro wines. Then you will undertake your own GSM blending trial to gain a greater understanding of the blending process, and learn how slight changes in each variety affects the final blend.

$45 per person. Bookings essential at torbeck.com
